Our Spiritual DNA

Here at SSEFC we have given a great deal of thought to what makes us different than other churches in the area. We have identified five core values that define us. To make our core values memorable we have used the acronym BIBLE to describe them.

Biblical teaching   1 Timothy 4:13   We are committed to preaching through books of the Bible because we believe that this is the surest way to hear the full counsel of God.

Intimate fellowship   Hebrews 10:24-25   We don't just talk about the weather and sports....we share what God is doing in our lives. Real fellowship means spurring each other on to love and good deeds.

Building up the saints   1 Thessalonians 5:11   We want every believer from the youngest to the oldest to be engaged in growing into the likeness of our savior, Jesus Christ.

Loving our neighbor   James 2:8   the love of Jesus Christ has so changed our lives that we want everyone we come into contact with to know Him and love Him the way we do.

Embracing God in worship   Psalm 95:6-7   Singing is just one of many ways to worship God. But it has the unique power to connect us emotionally with Him and prepare us to hear God's Word preached.
